Classic Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients

Makes about 475ml / 8 scoops

  • 75ml whole milk
  • 60g granulated sugar
  • Pinch salt
  • 150ml double cream
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. Pour the milk and sugar into a bowl and whisk until the sugar has dissolved.
  2. Stir the cream and vanilla into the mixture, cover and if time allows refrigerate for 2 hours or preferably overnight.
  3. Add your ingredients and churn up the flavour for 25 minutes. 
  4. Serve or store in an airtight container in the freezer.
